IATSE Local 357

The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees Local 357 supplies the crew, allied craftspeople and support staff within the jurisdiction of Kitchener-Waterloo, Stratford, Cambridge, and Guelph Ontario Canada. Our members include employees of the Stratford Festival, Centre in the Square, Kitchener Memorial Auditorium, River Run Centre, and Wilfrid Laurier University, among others. We provide support work and skilled labour in carpentry, rigging, wigs & makeup, special effects, projection, electrics and wardrobe for the construction and production of virtually every type of live/theatrical event.

Land Acknowledgment

IATSE Local 357 acknowledges we are on land that has been inhabited by indigenous people from the beginning. As uninvited guests, we respect and recognize the Indigenous people of this land, be they acknowledged, unacknowledged, recorded and unrecorded. We recognize the original stewards of these lands, the Anishinaabe, the Haudinosaunee, the Wendat, and the Attiwonderonk. We are committed to the challenge of change in our communities.
