SimplySmart Child Care Centre & Montessori (formerly Alexandra Day Care) has been serving the Waterloo community since 1979. This childcare has been providing a safe and stimulating environment to nurture and support children’s development. Next to the children who attend the centre, building trusting relationships with parents is of utmost importance to the school. It is located very conveniently 5 minutes away from the University of Waterloo and Wilfred Laurier and the LRT.

The centre provides home-cooked meals on-site and has qualified and nurturing staff for the care of children 18 months to 5 years of age. It offers the toddler and preschool program. The curriculum is based on How Does Learning Happen and allows children to grow in areas of language, math, science, gross motor and social and self-help skills. Our Core values of honesty, respect, gratitude & generosity, compassion, determination and responsibility are emphasized across our team and children. The centre follows all requirements of the Ministry of Education and provides a very cosy atmosphere for children and parents. It is well known in the community for years and offers a holistic learning program including daily activities maximizing the learning potential of each child. It provides a warm and inviting atmosphere.
